The GST Voucher scheme helps lower- and middle-income Singaporeans offset some of their Goods and Services Tax expenses. It usually has several components, including a cash payout, a MediSave top-up for older citizens, and a U-Save rebate that offsets utilities bills for eligible HDB households. Eligibility is means-tested using factors like income, the annual value of your home, and how many properties you own. Payouts are typically given once or a few times a year. It is separate from one-off cost-of-living packages the Government may announce. Components, eligibility and payout amounts are subject to the latest rules.
