IPPT
National Service
The Individual Physical Proficiency Test is a fitness test that operationally ready servicemen take to show they meet physical standards. It commonly consists of three stations, such as push-ups, sit-ups and a run, scored by age group, with total points determining whether you fail, pass, or earn monetary incentives for higher performance. Servicemen are usually required to take it within a yearly window, and those who do not meet the standard may be placed on remedial training. It helps ensure NSmen stay ready for their roles. Test format, scoring and incentive amounts are subject to the latest rules.
