The Ministry of Manpower is the government agency that oversees Singapore's labour and workforce matters. It administers the Employment Act, work passes for foreigners, workplace safety and health, CPF policy, and dispute channels for employees. Common reasons people deal with MOM include checking work pass status, understanding salary and leave entitlements, reporting unfair or unsafe practices, and workplace injury claims. Salary and many employment disputes are handled together with the Tripartite Alliance for Dispute Management and the Employment Claims Tribunals.
