What is the average salary range for a software engineer in Singapore?

I'm considering a career switch to software engineering and I want to know what kind of salary I can expect. I've heard that salaries can vary greatly depending on experience and company size.

From my experience, the average salary range for a software engineer in Singapore is around SGD 6,000 to 12,000 per month, depending on the company size and your level of experience. I've been working as a software engineer for 3 years now and I'm currently earning around SGD 9,000 per month. However, I've heard that some companies can pay up to SGD 15,000 per month for senior positions.

I've done some research and it seems like the average salary range for a software engineer in Singapore is around SGD 7,000 to 14,000 per month. I've also found that some companies offer bonuses and benefits that can increase the total compensation package. For example, my friend is working at a company that offers a 10% bonus every 6 months, which works out to an additional SGD 7,000 per year.

I've been working as a freelance software engineer for 2 years now and I can earn up to SGD 10,000 per month, depending on the projects I take on. However, I have to pay my own taxes and benefits, which can be a hassle. I think the average salary range for a full-time software engineer in Singapore is around SGD 5,000 to 10,000 per month, but it really depends on the company and the individual's level of experience.

I think the average salary range is more like SGD 4,000 to 8,000 per month. I've been working as a junior software engineer for 1 year now and I'm earning around SGD 5,000 per month. I've also got friends who are working in smaller companies and they're earning around SGD 3,500 per month.
